VISION STATEMENT Our vision is a spiritual and missional awakening in our generation through encounters with Jesus Christ.

PURPOSE: We want to see people come to know God through Jesus Christ; to see people passionate about their relationship with Him and excited about serving Him.

Our desire is to see lost people saved. To see believers awakening and maturing through encounters with Jesus in the context of authentic worship and genuine discipleship. To see an awakened generation equipped and empowered to reach the harvest, to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) in the spirit of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). As a result, to see campuses, homes, communities and regions transformed by the glory of God. Or as some would call it: Revival.

OUR MINISTRIES: We work toward this in the U.S.A. and Internationally through events, media, serving churches (and starting them in least reached and strategic places) and through humanitarian aid where it is needed most.

DIRECTOR: David Gilliam directs Encounter Generation, Inc. David writes, leads worship and speaks to people of all ages in several nations about Jesus, encouraging them to awaken to the dynamic relationship and powerful purpose God has for each person.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

  • We Believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired Word of God.
  • We Believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit.
  • We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We Believe that all have sinned and are guilty before God.
  • We Believe that the consequences of sin are death and eternal separation from God.
  • We Believe that all those who repent and believe in Jesus Christ are saved, are delivered from the judgment of God and are born again into eternal life and relationship with God.
  • We Believe in the resurrection of the body, the everlasting punishment of unbelievers and the everlasting blessedness of believers in the presence of Christ.
  • We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is empowered and equipped for lives of love, holiness and fruitfulness.
  • We Believe the Church consists of all genuine believers and followers of Jesus Christ and that it exists to love and worship God, to make disciples of all nations and to bring healing, love and truth to the world.
